Delivering more and better to existing and potential members by:

  • Building on BME community assets and aspirations, strengthening the BME voluntary sector’s problem-solving capacity and creating new relationships and resources.

  • Focusing on improving physical and economic community development and promoting mixed community networks among local residents.

  • Establishing relations with key policy and decision making bodies including the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), Neighbourhood Renewal and Regeneration bodies at a local, sub-regional and regional level.

  • Keeping the BME voluntary and community sectors up-to-date on developments in relevant social policy areas.

  • Promoting effective and equitable partnership working to ensure that resources targeted at BME communities make a tangible difference to regenerating and building those communities.
